I have used quite a number of antivirus software since my first laptop in 2002. I would not mention names nor would I compare but until recently, I was about free or pirated software especially antivirus. With experience I have learnt a few hard lessons, amongst them is that even in the internet age, no good software application comes for free and that pirated antivirus software is deadlier than no antivirus.

Recently someone approached us to develop a website for his company. We sat with him, evaluated his needs and eventually sent him a cost breakdown. Few minutes after he received it, he called us barking like a rabid dog and complaining about how high our cost was, telling me that he could get it so much cheaper elsewhere, I advised him to go elsewhere. Truth is you can't get our services elsewhere, at least not anymore.

These days everybody wants a website. While I don't think this is a bad thing, I am irritated by the reason they want these website, which most of the time is for absolutely no reason at all. Small Businesses build websites, large corporations build websites, organizations build websites, even the girl selling cookies has a website.
